Student-Athlete Q&A
What made Liberty University the right place for you to attend college/compete at the collegiate level?
I loved how Christ centered Liberty is as a school and team. I remember having deep spiritual conversations on my visit with the team, which I loved. I also remember how genuine the coaches seemed about their faith and how they care for their athletes.
Is there anything special you do pregame or postgame and why?
On the line before a race, I repeat Philippians 4:13 to myself to remind myself that God is in control and the only reason I can accomplish what I have is through Him.
Who in your life inspires you and why are they such an inspiration?
My dad inspires me because he not only teaches me how to be a hard worker, but he also teaches me how to be a better follower of Christ through that.
What is your most memorable athletic moment/accomplishment?
Dropping 3 seconds off my 800 at states and missing the school record by one second even though I wasn't going for it.
Do you have any relatives who are playing or have played college or professional sports? (Names, relation to you, what/where they played)?
My dad played football and baseball at Adrian College.
Do you have any current pets (name and type of animal)?
I have a dog named Ruby.
