2007 (So.): Competed unattached in a number of cross country and track & field meets, as she completed a year in residence at Liberty … came in sixth at the Hokie Open cross country meet to close out her year … also posted a sixth place finish in her final track & field meet, notching a 5:07.23 at the Liberty Twilight Qualifier.
Previous School: Split her freshman year between Wisconsin-Parkside and Wisconsin-Whitewater.
Prep: Helped Sauk Prairie High School capture cross country and track & field conference titles as a senior … named team rookie of the year in both sports … attended Baraboo High School through her junior year … tabbed squad's most valuable cross country and track & field runner as a junior.
Personal: Daughter of Vince and Sherri Martens … kinesiology major … birthday is Oct. 21.
