• Spent four years at VMI, competing in both cross country and track & field

• Top cross country season came in 2014, when he placed 17^th at the SoCon meet and 71^st at the NCAA Division I Southeast Regional Championships

• Posted top-eight SoCon finishes in the 2015 outdoor 5K (eighth) and 2016 indoor 3K (seventh)

• Named SoCon Student-Athlete of the Week on Oct. 22, 2014

• Included on VMI’s Elite 18 List, the SoCon Honor Roll and the SoCon All-Academic Team in 2015

• Top times were 4:08.45 in the 1,500, 8:38.23 in the 3K, 9:31.82 in the 3K steeplechase, 14:51.18 in the 5K, 25:12 in the cross country 8K and 31:47 in the cross country 10K

• Won the senior boys race at the 2011 Foot Locker South Regional Cross Country Championships

• As a senior, placed 18^th at the Virginia AAA state cross country meet, 10^th in the 3,200 at the AAA state indoor track meet and 15^th in the 3,200 at the AAA state outdoor track meet

• Top times included 4:23.05 for the 1,600, 9:28.23 for the 3,200 and 15:54 for the cross country 5K
