Amanda Mast began her tenure as director of operations in the fall of 2026. In this role, she manages team travel, coordinates meet logistics, assists with facility operations and supports the coaching staff in student-athletes.

A Lynchburg native, Mast previously served the track & field/cross country program as a student worker during her senior year at Liberty (2024-25). She helped manage the facility, handled meet-related inquiries and assisted with meet day operations. Mast then returned in the spring of 2026 to help out on home meet days, something she has also done at University of Lynchburg home events previously.

Mast assisted with the Pacers Homeschool track & field and cross country team, a program she competed for herself during middle school and high school.

Mast is the oldest of seven siblings, with younger sister Sophia currently competing for the Liberty women’s track & field team. Mast also competed for Liberty’s equestrian team from 2021-25, serving as captain of the Western Team as a senior. She qualified for regionals twice.

Mast graduated from Liberty with a bachelor’s degree in economics and a minor in accounting in May 2025.
