2009-10 (R-So.): Raced five times during the cross country season … broke the 20-minute barrier for the first time at the Hagan Stone Park Classic, where she traversed the 5K course in 19:54.3 … came in 35th at the Big South meet, an improvement of eight places over the previous season … On the Track: Competed in the steeplechase for the first time in her career, contesting the event twice during the outdoor track season … notched an 11:53.94 in her debut performance, ranking No. 7 in program history … finished sixth in the Big South steeplechase final.
2008-09 (R-Fr.): Made her Liberty debut at the Liberty Big South Preview … returned to her home course for the Big South meet, clocking a season-best 5K time of 21:19.9 for 43rd place … On the Track: Ran a 20:41.85 in her 5K track debut, Jan. 23 at the Liberty Open indoor meet … less than two months later, she lowered her personal best by more than a minute and a half, clocking 19:08.89 at the Coastal Carolina Invitational … notched a 39:52.93 in her first try at the 10K distance, finishing second at the VMI/Washington & Lee Track & Field Carnival … Awards Summary: Big South Presidential Honor Roll.
2007-08 (Fr.): Attended Liberty, but did not compete in either cross country or track & field.
Prep: Two-year team captain at Essex High School … member of the National Honor Society.
