
Liberty FH Announces 9 Signees in 2026 Class

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Liberty field hockey program and head coach Nikki Parsley-Blocker have announced the addition of nine student-athletes to their 2026 signing class.
The nine signees hail from four different countries – Argentina (three), the United States (three), South Africa (two) and Belgium (one).
Teshawn De La Rey (M/F – Johannesburg, South Africa/Helpmekaar Kollege)
De La Ray is a midfielder/forward who hails from Johannesburg, South Africa. Her most significant junior national level experience came with South Africa at the 2025 U21 Junior World Cup in Santiago Chile. De La Ray was also part of the South African Women's 5s team that achieved a historic fourth place finish at the 2024 FIU Women's Hockey5s World Cup in Muscat, Oman.
"When the opportunity to join Liberty University was presented to me, it was a no-brainer. The chance to further my studies, play hockey and grow spiritually here is nothing short of a blessing," De La Ray said. "Liberty University is a well-respected university, and I am honored to be a part of the Flames family."
De La Ray's other experience includes three years (2023-25) with NWU Club and six years (2018-23) with Wanderers Club. With NWU Club, De La Ray helped the squad finish in the top two in the Northerns League. Individually, she earned the Excellence Award and Special Award. With Wanderers Club, she received the Most Improved Player honor for a Wanderers squad which finished in the top two in the Southerns League. She also earned honorary colors for four years in high school. In South African school and provincial sports, honorary colors, or "Honours", represent the highest level of recognition for exceptional achievement, superior skill and dedication.
"While it's never easy to say goodbye, I have no doubt that this opportunity in the United State is a well-deserved next step. Teshawn has earned it through hard work, discipline and belief, and I am confident she will continue to thrive both academically and on the field. Liberty is gaining far more than a talented athlete. It is gaining an exceptional person."

Alexia Guedouar (M/F – Brussels, Belgium/Ecole Decroly)
Guedouar is a midfielder/forward rom Brussels, Belgium. She has been with the Royal Leopold Club and the women's team since 2022 while also playing on several of the club's youth teams. Guedouar says her favorite field hockey memory was reaching the Belgian Cup final with the women's team in 2025.
"I am extremely happy and grateful to have the opportunity to attend a university like Liberty and meet new people," she stated.
Guedouar and Royal Leopold have had a number of strong results over the years, including: Division I champion with the women's team (2022 and 2024), Belgian Cup final (2024), indoor semifinal (2024), indoor final (2023 with youth team) and indoor semifinal (2022 with youth team).
Natalie Harrison (M/D – Lovettsville, Va./Woodgrove HS)
Harrison is a midfielder/defender who hails from Lovettsville, Va. She has compiled numerous accolades, both individually and with her club team, Metro HC.
"I am incredibly grateful and excited to be a part of God's plan for the Liberty University Field Hockey family. I cannot wait until I get to play alongside my sisters in Christ and glorify God with them every step of the way," Harrison said.
Harrison totaled 52 goals, 53 assists and 157 points in four years (73 games) at Woodgrove High School. As a senior, she finished with 17 goals, 15 assists and 49 points in 19 games, leading the Wolverines to a district title, runner-up finish at regionals and state quarterfinal appearance. A team caption and team MVP, Harrison was named to the all-state first team and was the District Player of the Year. The first team all-district selection also earned first team all-region honors.
During her junior campaign, she garnered first team all-district, first team all-region and second team all-state recognition after a nine-goal, 12-assist campaign. As a sophomore, she tallied 15 goals, 18 assists and 48 points in 19 games, earning first team all-district and first team all-region honors. A first team all-district selection as a freshman as well, Harrison finished her first season with 11 goals.
During her time with Metro HC on the club circuit, Harrison has helped the squad to eight different titles and three-runner-up finishes. Her most recent championships with the club include a 2025 U19 Regional Club Chamnpionship title and a U19 National Indoor Tournament (NIT) title in 2025.
"We are excited for Natalie to have the opportunity to continue her commitment to her faith, education and field hockey at Liberty University. Natalie's strong work ethic is contagious, and she possesses a wide range of skills that will translate well to the next level."
Ralph Goodwin, Metro HC Head Coach
Pia Iapichino (F – Buenos Aires, Argentina/Instituto Universitario River Plate)
Iapichino is a forward who hails from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She competes at the club level in Argentina for Club Atlético River Plate.
"I'm confident it is the right place for me to develop as a person, student and player," Iapichino said. "I believe the team values of joy, relentless effort and commitment are something that I will strive for."
Iapichino also gained experience with the Buenos Aires U16 national team. With Club Atlético River Plate, she was voted the best player of her club last year and ranked third in her league in scoring in 2024. Iapichino guided her squad to the postseason semifinals in 2024, the finals in 2023, a championship crown in 2022, a finals appearance in 2021 and a title in 2019. She was the top scorer of the tournament in 2022.
Clarisa Iudicello (M/F – Córdoba, Argentina/FASTA Villa Eucaristica)
Iudicello is a midfielder/forward who hails from Córdoba, Argentina. She represented her country at the 2026 Junior Pan American Cup in April in Santiago, Chile, playing for the Argentina U21 National Team. Iudicello and Argentina claimed the gold medal, defeating the USA 3-1 in the final. She finished the tournament with five goals, second most on the team, in seven matches.
"I'm incredibly excited to join Liberty and be a part of a program with such a strong culture and ambition," Iudicello stated. "I'm looking forward to growing both as a player and person while also contributing everything I can to the team."
In 2025, Iudicello traveled to Uruguay to play in friendly matches. In 2026, she participated in a competition in Salta, Argentina against club teams from different provinces. Iudicello is a member of the Córdoba Athletic Club and has developed through youth levels, making her first division debut in March 2025. She earned a title in a local tournament with Córdoba Athletic Club's first division squad in 2025 and participated in the Super 8 Club Championship of Argentina as well.
Allena Jaworski (GK – Mount Airy, Md./Linganore HS)
Jaworski is a goalkeeper from Mount Airy, Md. She helped lead the Linganore Lancers to a 16-2 record and a 3A state title during her senior campaign while earning first team all-conference and team MVP honors. The state title was Linganore's first field hockey state championship in 32 years and came in double overtim.e During that season, she posted a .914 save percentage, 0.89 goals-agianst average, 10 shutouts and 180 saves. The Lancers also claimed the Central Maryland Conference title and 3A West regional crowns.
"I'm so excited to be joining the Flames for competitive hockey, a Christ-centered approach to life and strong academics," Jaworski said.
As a junior, she compiled a .844 save percentage, 1.26 goals-against average, eight shutouts and 103 saves while guiding Linganore to a regional championship. Individually, she earned all-conference first team and all-county first team distinctions. Jaworwski also played two seasons of lacrosse (2022-23) at Linganore High School.
At the club level, Jaworski has been with Warhawks FHC since 2020 and has earned a trio of runner-up finishes at big events and a first place finish at the U14 Region 7 Club Championship (2022). Jaworski was selected to compete at the USA Field Hockey U-18 Junior Nexus Championship in 2024 as well as the U-16 Junior Nexus Championship in 2023. She also played at the 2023 AAU Junior Olympics.
"I'm so excited for Allena to be joining the Flames! I know that program has high standards and higher values, so I know she will be in her element. Her work ethic and belief will carry her to greatness in that environment."
McKenzie McCaull, Linganore High School Field Hockey Head Coach
Danielle Lavery (D/M – New Freedom, Pa./Susquehannock HS)
Lavery is a defender/midfielder from New Freedom, Pa. She has been a standout at Susquehannock High school as well as with three different club teams over the past six years.
"I am so excited to join the Liberty field hockey program. The overall message that the team stands for and the resilient work ethic is something that drew me in," Lavery stated. "The coaches and girls on the team hold something so special, and I cannot wait to be a part of it!"
Lavery has been a part of a highly successful Susquehannock High School program, with her teams compiling a 79-7 record over the last four years. As a senior, Lavery finished with 11 goals, 17 assists and 39 points for a 23-2 Warriors squad while earning Defensive Player of the Year and all-conference first team recognition. Lavery guided her squad to four conference crowns in four years and two county titles. As a junior, she finished with 10 goals, 12 assists and 32 points for a 19-2 Warriors team. Lavery earned first team all-conference honors during her junior and sophomore seasons as well.
A three-sport athlete at Susquehannock, Lavery competed in swimming for two years and lacrosse for one. Her three club field hockey squads over the last six years have included: WC Eagles (three years), PA Revolution (one year) and Ballyhoo Field Hockey Club (two years). In 2024, Lavery helped her squad to a first place medal at the NIT. In 2025, her squad claimed second place at the NIT.
Ntsopa Mokoena (F – Bethlehem, South Africa/Futures Academy)
Mokoena is a forward from Bethlehem, South Africa who brings strong international experience to the table. She represented her country at the 2024 Paris Olympics and also played in the Junior World Cup in both 2025 and 2023.
"I've always wanted to play hockey overseas, and Liberty came into the picture and made my dreams of going overseas come to life," Mokoena said. "I'm very grateful for this opportunity, and I can't wait to join the Flames."
Mokoena has played for three different club teams in the last three years: Tuks 2 (2026-present), Harlequins Hockey Club (2025) and Central Hockey Club (2024). As a senior, Mokoena was a first team selection and guided her squad to a province league title.
Martu Sánchez Ros (D/M – Buenos Aires, Argentina/Colegio Sagrada Familia Tandil)
Sánchez Ros hails from Buenos Aires, Argentina and is a defender/midfielder. She ompeted for Club Los 50 Tandil from 2011-25, achieving a number of team and individual accomplishments.
"Every time I think about LU, it is with a smile on my face and butterflies in my stomach," she stated. "I still can't believe my dream has come true that everything I have been working on so hard has led me to this amazing opportunity. I cannot wait to be there and become a Flame!"
Since 2021, Sánchez Ros and her club team have 10 top-three finishes in tournaments, including a pair of first place finishes. Most recently, the squad won a regional tournament in Junín, Buenos Aires in 2024. In 2022, Sánchez Ros helped the team win a regional event in Bahía Blanca, Buenos Aires. Individually, she was twice drafted (2023 and 2025) for the FTH (Federación Tandilense de Hockey) Team. In 2025, she played for FTH and the national championship in Mendoza. In 2023, Sánchez Ros represented FTH at a regional championship in Mendoza.
