Liberty Leads CUSA With 149 CUSA Commissioner’s Academic Medal Winners

LYNCHBURG, Va. – For a third straight year, Liberty paced all Conference USA institutions in Commissioner's Academic Medal winners. Liberty Athletics featured 149 total student-athletes who earned a 2025-26 Commissioner's Academic Medal for their efforts in the classroom.
Student-athletes who earned the Commissioner's Academic Medal are maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better. A total of 1,301 student-athletes in the league were named Commissioner's Academic Medal winners during the 2025-26 school year.
In three years in the conference, Liberty Athletics has featured 452 CUSA Commissioner's Academic Medal winners.
In addition to sustained success in the classroom in its third year in the league, Liberty Athletics has captured five CUSA titles to date:
