With more than 50 new faces on Liberty's 2026 football roster, today's Spring Showcase provided an opportunity for the new players on the Mountain to introduce themselves to Flames Nation.
Â
The sun-drenched day started with fans enjoying Liberty Football's traditional game day experiences outside of Gate 1 at Williams Stadium, including inflatables for the kids and a golf simulator.
Once the gates opened at 1 p.m., fans filed into the stadium to watch the Flames' 15th and final practice of the spring season.
Â
Prior to the 60-minute workout, Liberty Head Football Coach Jamey Chadwell allowed each of the players to introduce themselves to the gathered crowd, providing a personal connection to the fans and Liberty's players.
Â
Included with the player introductions was each position coach naming their most improved player of the spring from their unit.
Â
Below is a list of this spring's Most Improved Players:
In addition to the position awards, the football program also named its Most Improve Freshman of the spring. The offensive award winner was QB #18 Jachin Davis and the defensive award winner was LB #34 Ellis Alloway.
Â
Near the end of the workout, select fans were brought onto the field with an opportunity to kick a field goal with a chance to win season tickets and single-game tickets to Liberty's Midweek on the Mountain Conference USA games during the month of October.
Â
Following the practice session, the Flames spent time with their fans during an autograph session in the South end zone of Williams Stadium.
