Stout Named to CUSA WBB All-Academic Team

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Liberty sophomore center Emmy Stout has been voted to the CUSA Women's Basketball All-Academic Team, it was announced on Thursday.
A native of San Diego, Calif., Stout owns a 3.58 GPA as a biomedical sciences major. She was one of only two sophomores to make the five-member All-Academic Team, joining Louisiana Tech's Paris Bradley. Liberty has now placed a player on the All-Academic Team during all three seasons of CUSA membership, as current assistant coach Emma Hess made it in 2023-24 and 2024-25.
On the court, Stout ranks No. 2 in CUSA in field goal percentage (51.9), No. 7 in scoring (13.7 ppg) and No. 13 in rebounding (6.4 rpg). One of two Lady Flames to start all 28 games this season, Stout has recorded four double-doubles and four 20-point games.
Stout and the Lady Flames (16-12, 10-7 CUSA) will close out the regular season on Friday, playing host to CUSA newcomer Delaware (12-17, 6-11 CUSA) for Senior Night. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Liberty Arena, and the matchup will air on ESPN+.
