No. 71 Men’s Tennis Travels to Florida for Two Matches

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The No. 71 Liberty men's tennis team (8-8) eyes to take two matches in Florida when they face No. 74 USF on Friday at 1:30 p.m. and battle FAU on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Liberty is coming off a road defeat at Charlotte, falling 6-1 despite securing the doubles point.
The team has plenty of recent history against both teams they will square off with this weekend. Liberty has met both USF and FAU in each of its previous two seasons. The Flames are 1-3 all-time against USF and 3-2 in program history against FAU.
The Flames continue to face challenging competition this season. With the current ITA rankings, they have met No. 23 Auburn, No. 26 Arizona State, No. 30 UC Santa Barbara, No. 31 Princeton, No. 37 Yale, No. 44 Penn, No. 45 Georgia Tech and No. 51 Charlotte.
