No. 68 Liberty Faces Challenging Road Match at No. 56 Charlotte

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The No. 68 Liberty men's (8-7) tennis team heads to the Queen City to take on No. 56 Charlotte (10-4) on Sunday at 1 p.m. from the Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex.
The Flames enjoyed a week off from matches after topping Tulane 5-2 at home. They are in the midst of a three-match winning streak, with all their victories at home.
Liberty and Charlotte have met seven times, with the Flames owning a 5-3 edge in the all-time series. The 49ers got the best of Liberty last season with a 5-2 triumph on the road. The programs are 2-2 in their previous four matchups.
The Flames continue to face challenging competition this season. With the current ITA rankings, they have met No. 14 Auburn, No. 25 Arizona State, No. 32 UC Santa Barbara, No. 33 Princeton, No. 40 Yale, No. 42 Penn and No. 52 Georgia Tech.
