
Liberty Travels for Pair of Matches in North Carolina

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Liberty women's tennis team (5-1) looks to build on a four-match winning streak on the road when it takes on Elon (1-1) on Friday at 2 p.m. and visits Wake Forest (3-3) on Saturday at 11 a.m.
Liberty earned a four-match winning streak after securing a pair of triumphs over George Washington (7-0) and Navy (5-2).
Daniella O'Neill was named the Conference USA Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week on Wednesday. She made her first two appearances of the season at the No. 1 position, securing two wins for the Lady Flames.
The Lady Flames are 3-5 all-time against Elon, most recently falling to the Phoenix 4-3 last season. Liberty seeks its first triumph against Wake Forest in their fifth meeting, previously matching up last season, suffering a 6-1 loss.
