
Flames Have 4 Named to CSC Academic All-District® Team

Honoring their efforts in the classroom and on the gridiron, Liberty had four players named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Football Team released on Tuesday.
Liberty running back Evan Dickens, safety A'Khori Jones, wide receiver Jamari Person and tight end Caleb Ryan were the four players receiving this year's academic honors.
This is the second season in a row Jones has appeared on the CSC Academic All-District® Football Team.
Additionally, this year marks the third time in program history Liberty has placed four football players on a CSC Academic All-District® Team. The Flames also had four selections in 2004 and 2008.
Dickens left his mark on Liberty's record books in 2025, rushing for 1,339 yards and 16 touchdowns. He led Conference USA in rushing touchdowns and ranked second in the league in rushing yards.
Jones started all 12 games of the 2025 season and ranked seventh on Liberty's roster with 39 tackles (26 solo, 13 assisted). He also added 3.5 tackles for a loss, a 28-yard interception return, two pass breakups and a forced fumble
Person saw playing time in all 12 games and started six contests. He ranked second on Liberty's roster with 28 receptions for 315 yards, averaging 11.3 yards per reception.
Ryan served as a reserved tight end, playing in all 12 games in 2025 and finished the year with four receptions for 87 yards. He also was a mainstay on Liberty's special teams units, ranking third on the team in special teams snap count (165).
