- Saturday's game tip time was moved up five hours from 6 p.m. to 1 p.m. due to this weekend's impending winter storm.
- Liberty's 8-0 league start is the best start to a conference season in program history.
- The Flames are one of 14 teams in the nation currently unbeaten in conference play.

- Liberty's 10-game winning streak is the eighth longest streak in the country at present. The streak is also the fourth longest in school history and longest since a 12-game winning streak from Jan. 16-March 7, 2021.
- The Flames are a perfect 10-0 at home this year. Liberty is averaging 87.3 ppg and shooting 56.1 percent at Liberty Arena.

- Brett Decker Jr. has the second-best three-point percentage (50.0) in the nation. Zach Cleveland is No. 7 in the country in assists per game (7.0).
- This will be the third all-time meeting meeting the two programs but first since the 2014-15 season. The Fightin' Blue Hens are in their inaugural CUSA season, while this is the third year in the league for the Flames. The series is even 1-1, with each team winning at home. The last matchup between the two institutions came on Nov. 17, 2014, a 61-55 Flames win at the Vines Center. Tomasz Gielo also led the way with a double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds.
- The Flames are 8-0 in CUSA play for the first time.

- Liberty is the first team to start 8-0 or better in CUSA play since the 2022-23 Florida Atlantic team (11-0), who went on to make the Final Four. The Flames are the only team to start 8-0 since they joined the league prior to the start of the 2023-24 season.
- Cleveland (1,029 points) became the 35th player in program history to eclipse the 1,000-point mark in his Liberty career with an 11-point effort against NM State. Cleveland joined Colin Porter (Jan. 8 at LA Tech) and Kaden Metheny (Dec. 16 at Midway) as one of three active 1,000-point scorers for the Flames.
