Bradley Leads LA Tech to 86-72 Win Over Liberty

LYNCHBURG, Va. – CUSA Preseason Player of the Year Paris Bradley hit a Liberty Arena single-game record seven triples and matched the arena record with 31 points. Her offensive outburst led CUSA preseason favorite Louisiana Tech past defending conference champion Liberty, 86-72, Sunday afternoon in a nationally-televised (ESPNU) contest at Liberty Arena.
Liberty falls to 8-7 overall and 2-2 in CUSA action after suffering its second straight home loss. The Lady Flames shot 51.8 percent (29-of-56) from the field and got 20 points from Emmy Stout. But Liberty could not slow down the Lady Techsters' offensive onslaught.
LA Tech picks up its second consecutive road win, moving to 9-5 overall and 2-1 in CUSA play. The Lady Techsters shot well from the floor (55.1 percent, 27-of-49), three-point range (60 percent, 12-of-20) and the free throw line (87 percent, 20-of-23) to notch their first-ever win in Lynchburg.

- Stout's 20-point game was her third of the season and the fifth of the sophomore's career.
- Mills (17 points) reached double figures for the fifth straight game and the 13th time in 15 outings this year. Her four triples give the sophomore 16 three-pointers through the first four CUSA contests.
- Mills fashioned a four-point play directly in front of the Liberty bench with 3:11 remaining in the third quarter. It was the first four-point play by a Lady Flame in exactly one year. Pien Steenbergen had one against LA Tech on Jan. 11, 2025 at Liberty Arena.
- Acin (13 points) posted the fourth double-digit scoring effort of her career, all of which have come this season. She also dished out a game-high seven assists for the second time in the last three games.
- The Lady Flames are now 39-5 all-time in conference games at Liberty Arena after suffering back-to-back home conference losses for the first time at the facility.
- Prior to Sunday, Liberty had been 4-0 this season when scoring 70+ points in a game and had won both times it had shot 50 percent from the field.
- Louisiana Tech's 86 points were the most Liberty has allowed to a conference foe since March 11, 2020 (90-87 overtime win at North Alabama in the ASUN semifinals).
- Liberty's 40 points in the paint on Sunday marked the Lady Flames' highest total against a Division I opponent this season.
- Sunday marked the Lady Flames' second nationally televised game at Liberty Arena. Their Jan. 16, 2021 win over North Alabama also aired on ESPNU.
