Football Hits the Practice Field in Full Pads on Tuesday

Preparation for Liberty's 2025 football season took another step forward on Tuesday when the Flames held their first practice of the season in full pads.

Enjoying a brief few days reprieve from the less than normally hot and humid August temperatures, Liberty's sixth practice of fall training camp certainly had some extra excitement.

During his weekly press conference, Liberty Head Coach Jamey Chadwell spoke with the media about what he hopes to accomplish this week during practice and the Saturday afternoon scrimmage.Â

Throughout fall training camp, the local Lynchburg media will have the chance to talk with Liberty's assistant coaches and players to get their thoughts about the upcoming season. During the last week, the media spoke with the following individuals:

Following a day off on Wednesday, Liberty will use practices on Thursday and Friday afternoon to prepare for its first scrimmage of training camp on Saturday.
