Liberty Paces CUSA in Commissioner’s Honor Roll Members & Academic Medal Recipients

LYNCHBURG, Va. – For a second straight year, Liberty led all Conference USA schools in 2024-25 CUSA Commissioner's Honor Roll recipients and Commissioner's Academic Medal recipients.
Liberty Athletics featured 411 Commissioner's Honor Roll student-athletes to pace the league. Student-athletes named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll maintain a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better and have completed at least one academic semester at the institution in either spring 2024 or fall 2024. A total of 2,878 CUSA student-athletes were tabbed to the Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Liberty also led the conference with 158 Commissioner's Academic Medal honorees. Student-athletes who earned the Commissioner's Academic Medal are holding a cumulative GPA of 3.75
or better. A total of 1,056 student-athletes in the league were named Commissioner's Academic Medal winners during the 2024-25 school year.
This is the second straight year Liberty has been atop the conference in academic awards. Last year, the department featured 388 student-athletes on the 2023-24 CUSA Commissioner's Honor Roll and 145 CUSA Commissioner's Academic Medal winners.
In addition to successes in the classroom in its second year in the league, Liberty Athletics has captured eight CUSA titles to date:
