Notes and Nuggets
- Nwaobi's team-high 16 points nearly doubled her previous career high of nine, and the redshirt freshman grabbed a game-high 13 boards for the third time in nine games to begin her collegiate career. She becomes the fourth different Lady Flame to record a double-double this season, joining Avery Mills, Lynn Peters and Emmy Stout.
- Nwaobi has now pulled down 10 or more rebounds in seven consecutive games. That is the longest streak by a Lady Flame since assistant coach Katie (Feenstra) Mattera did so in eight straight outings between Jan. 17-Feb. 16, 2004.
- Mills' three triples continue the sophomore's streak of making two or more three-pointers in every game this season. She has knocked down 29 triples in nine games this year.
- Stout was limited to a season-low eight points on Saturday, all of which came after halftime. That ended her streak of nine straight games scoring in double figures.
- Playing its lone home game within a 42-day span, the Lady Flames drop to 3-2 at Liberty Arena this season and 68-11 all-time at the facility (including 0-2 vs. Richmond).
- The Lady Flames have now dropped four straight meetings with the Spiders, falling to 4-24 in the all-time head-to-head series.
- Three of Liberty's last four games have been played against A-10 opponents, also including wins over Duquesne and George Mason.
