NEWARK, Del. - Liberty bounced back from a first-set loss, rallying to defeat Delaware in four sets (26-28, 25-23, 25-10, 25-17), Friday at Bob Carpenter Center.
Liberty (17-7, 5-6 CUSA) broke a tie with Delaware (7-13, 4-7) in the conference standings, with the Lady Flames snapping a brief two-match winless streak. The Blue Hens sustained their fifth straight defeat.

- The Lady Flames outhit the Blue Hens .289-.125 for the match. Liberty also led in kills (61-42), aces (5-3) and digs (53-42), while Delaware held a 12-10 advantage in blocks.
- Carly O'Brien recorded her 12th double-double of the season with a match-high 17 kills and 10 digs. Paige Overcash contributed 16 kills and four blocks, while Jenna Otts scored 15 kills. Laney Daniell and Zoe Hall both recorded five kills and five blocks. Shyia Richardson collected 12 digs, while Molly Littlefield registered 11 digs. - The Lady Flames trailed set two, 16-11, and later faced a 22-20 deficit. However, Liberty battled back with a 5-1 surge to win it, capped off by back-to-back Otts kills.
- After the Lady Flames ran away with set three, 25-10, Liberty broke open a tight fourth set to win 25-17.
- Liberty leads the all-time volleyball series with Delaware, 7-4, as these two teams met for the first time since the 2009 season.
