MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Liberty overcame a 2-1 deficit, downing Middle Tennessee in five sets (24-26, 25-23, 19-25, 25-15, 15-8), Saturday at Alumni Memorial Gymnasium.
The Lady Flames improve to 16-5 on the season, including 4-4 in Conference USA play. Meanwhile, the Blue Raiders fall to 10-10, 2-6 in conference matches.
These two teams split this weekend's matches, with Middle Tennessee winning in five last night and Liberty prevailing by a 3-2 score today.
