Liberty Men’s Basketball Starts First Week of Official Practices

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Liberty men's basketball team started its first week of official practices in preparation for the 2024-25 season.
On Tuesday afternoon, Liberty Men's Basketball Head Coach Ritchie McKay, junior forward Zach Cleveland and redshirt senior guard Kaden Metheny met with members of the media in the Liberty Arena Media Room to discuss the upcoming season.
The Flames' season begins on Nov. 4 against Valparaiso at the Total Athlete Tip-Off in Xenia, Ohio. Liberty's home opener will be against Carolina University on Nov. 12. The Flames enter their second season in Conference USA this upcoming year. Liberty unveiled its second CUSA schedule in mid-July. The program unveiled its full non-conference schedule on Sept. 12.

Single-game tickets for non-conference games go on sale on Oct. 17 for Flames Club members. For season ticket holders, group tickets and waitlist holders, additional tickets go on sale on Oct. 21.
