Liberty Athletics and the Flames Club hosted its first ever Liberty Flames Spring Gala last Friday, April 26 at Liberty Arena.
Throughout the night, attendees received insight from some of Liberty's head coaches and student-athletes, as well as, having the opportunity to get competitive and bid on a variety of items and experiences in a live auction.
In addition to the live auction, all Flames fans were invited to bid in an online silent auction, which ran during the week leading up to the gala. In total, the event raised $100,000, that will go directly to support Liberty student-athletes.
Live auction items included a VIP NASCAR Pit experience with the #24 car and William Byron Team at Martinsville, A Gator Hunt with T Roy from Swamp People, a custom LU necklace from Gracie Marie Jewelers, a Florida Vacation Home in 30A, and a Mountain Cabin and away football experience for the Liberty at Appalachian State game.
The online auction was filled with many items including Liberty memorabilia, game day experiences, vacation homes and much more!
The Flames Club would like to thank all the event's sponsors, Greg and Brenda Klepper, OrthoVirginia, Talon Medical Construction Services, Ramsey Auto Group and Sodexo Dining Services, as well as everyone who participated in the Liberty Flames Spring Gala.
