Ihnen is a 6-9 forward from Boeblingen, Germany who will be transferring from Minnesota with two seasons of eligibility remaining.
"I can't express enough how excited I am about Isaiah. Not only is he a terrific player with tremendous upside, but he is a fabulous individual," McKay stated. "He really fits well into the existing culture of our program, both on and off the floor! I think his experience in the Big Ten will really serve him well in Conference USA and beyond."
This past season (2023-24) for the Gophers, Ihnen averaged 3.4 points and 1.9 rebounds in 11.5 minutes per game. He shot 43.6 percent from the floor and 35.8 percent from long distance. Ihnen and Minnesota won 19 games and reached the second round of the NIT.

He averaged 3.4 ppg and 2.5 rpg and shot 37.8 percent from three-point range.
Ihnen originally hails from Germany and played for the International Basketball Academy Munich (IBAM) squad during his prep career.
