Marsh Continues to Roll
• After hitting .343 in March, shortstop Tanner Marsh has continued his hot hitting into April. Over the first eight games of April, the freshman shortstop has hit .333 and scored a team-high nine runs.
• Since the beginning of March, the infielder has raised his batting average by 93 points to .315.
• Marsh has at least one hit in 23 of Liberty's last 27 games. He has at least one hit in seven of Liberty's eight games in April and 16 of 19 in March.
• The shortstop has collected four multi-hit games in April.

Here Comes Horton
• Slowed due to injury to start the year, Brayden Horton has boosted the Liberty offense since taking over in left field on March 22 at Middle Tennessee.
• Horton has hit .412 (21-for-41) with seven home runs, 22 RBI and 16 runs scored in 15 games. In addition, the sophomore has posted a .882 slugging percentage and a .508 on
base percentage.
• During the span, the outfielder had at least one hit in 11 consecutive games, the longest by a Flame this season.
• Horton enters the week with a .317 batting average and leads the Liberty with eight home runs and a .671 slugging percentage on the year.
• He has rocketed into fifth in CUSA with a .671 slugging percentage and is third with a 1.089 OPS (.671 Slg Pct. + .418 OB Pct.).

• Liberty begins an eight-game road swing to finish out its April schedule on Tuesday. The Flames will visit VCU, Western Kentucky, Virginia and Samford during the last two weeks of the month.
• Liberty and VCU will meet for the second time this season on Tuesday. When the two teams met earlier this season, the Rams edged the Flames 8-7 at Worthington Field at Liberty Baseball Stadium on March 19.
