
Hess Voted to CUSA WBB All-Academic Team

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Enjoying a standout season on the court and inside the classroom, Liberty's Emma Hess has earned a spot on the 2023-24 CUSA Women's Basketball All-Academic Team.
A criminal justice major with a 3.97 cumulative GPA, Hess has garnered all-academic recognition in a second conference in as many years. She was tabbed to the ASUN All-Academic Team a year ago.
On the hardwood, the junior guard from Beavercreek, Ohio has set a Liberty single-season record with 68 three-pointers this season. Hess ranks second on the team with 12.9 ppg, aided by five 20-point games, and was honored as CUSA Player of the Week for the first time on Monday.
Hess and the Lady Flames (15-15, 10-5 CUSA) will close out the regular season at Western Kentucky on Saturday. Tipoff is set for 3 p.m. Eastern inside E.A. Diddle Arena in Bowling Green, Ky.
