Liberty (17-13, 7-2 CUSA) plays four home games in five days, beginning on Tuesday against Virginia (20-10, 7-5 ACC) at Kamphuis Field at Liberty Softball Stadium.

- Virginia went 2-1 in a home series against No. 11 Clemson over the weekend, capped by a 3-0 shutout in the series finale. The Lady Flames took two of three at Sam Houston on the weekend.
- In Liberty's last home game, the Lady Flames beat No. 21 (D1Softball.com) Charlotte 6-5 last Wednesday. It was Liberty's second win over a Top 25 team this season, as the Lady Flames defeated No. 25 (Softball America) Penn State on Feb. 23.
- Virginia ranks 22nd nationally with a 2.14 ERA. Eden Bigham is ranked fifth in fewest hits allowed per seven innings (3,30), while Madison Harris (0.61 ERA) is seventh in the nation in ERA.
- Freshman Kaylan Yoder tossed her second shutout of the season, last Friday at Sam Houston. Hailey Deter then homered and drove in a career-high four runs in a 7-6 comeback win on Saturday. Megan Fortner hit a two-out, three-run homer in the seventh on Sunday to put Liberty ahead 5-4.
- Liberty and Virginia split a pair of meetings last year, with the home team winning each game. The Lady Flames are 8-1 all-time against Virginia at Liberty Softball Stadium and 18-9 all-time versus ACC opponents at the facility, which opened in 2015.
- Liberty has scored first in all 10 of its home games, going 9-1 at home so far this season. The Lady Flames' lone home loss was to No. 4 Duke on March 12. Liberty pitching has a 1.06 ERA and .137 opponents' batting average at home, allowing one run or fewer in eight out of 10 home contests.
- For the season, Rachel Roupe leads CUSA in slugging percentage (.793 - tied) while ranking second in OPS (1.230), homers (9) and runs (25). Mary Claire Wilson (.300) has scored 22 runs, while Hailey Deter (.298) is second on the team with seven doubles. Sierra Kersten (.268) is tied for the team lead with 20 RBI, while Megan Fortner has recorded seven homers and 19 RBI. KK Madrey is ranked third in CUSA in stolen bases (11).
- Kaylan Yoder (6-5, 2.87 ERA) has pitched shutouts in each of Liberty's last two CUSA series openers. Katie Love (4-3, 4.39) pitched a no-hitter against Jacksonville State on March 16 and ranks fourth in CUSA in opponents' batting average (.223) Liberty is 4-0 in games Elena Escobar (2.51 ERA) has started this season. Louisiana transfer Tyler Oubre holds a 3.68 ERA.
