
No. 54 Lady Flames Secure Highest Team Ranking in Program History

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Liberty women's tennis team was ranked No. 54 in the latest ITA national team rankings announced on Wednesday.
This ranking is Liberty's first this year and the Lady Flames' fifth team ranking overall. Liberty previously received three team rankings in 2023, reaching as high as No. 66 in the country.
The Lady Flames own a 5-3 record in 2024 including a key 4-3 victory over VCU on Saturday. Liberty has faced a challenging schedule this spring, meeting Texas Tech on Jan. 21 (lost 6-1), Missouri on Feb. 2 (won 4-0), James Madison on Feb. 4 (won 4-0) and Delaware on Feb. 10 (won 4-3).
