
Webster Shines on Saturday at Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational

Women's Day 2 Recap
Webster started off her busy afternoon by clocking a time of 7.40 for a comfortable win in the women's 60 final, remaining undefeated at the distance this season.
She then won her heat and placed third overall in the women's 200 in 23.66. That improved upon her previous program record of 23.69 from the Liberty Open on Feb. 3.

Webster capped off her day by running the second leg of the Lady Flames' 4 x 400 relay, where she was preceded by Patasha Bryan and followed by Dawn Hilton and Maddy Merritt. Liberty's winning time was a season-best 3:47.18. Webster produced Liberty's fastest split at 55.60.
Cartwright timed her lean to perfection, defeating Coastal Carolina's Amanda Kinloch by two thousandths of a second in 8.35 to take top honors in the women's 60 hurdles final. Teammate Ahvon Mitchell followed in sixth place in a season-best 8.53, strengthening her hold on the No. 4 spot in program history.

Megan Mann was the Lady Flames' top field event performer on the day, throwing 47-11 to place sixth in a field of 58 women's shot putters.
Adelyn Fairley posted her second top-10 finish of the meet (also eighth in women's 3K), placing seventh in the invitational women's mile in 4:52.60.
Men's Day 2 Recap
Isaiah Schultes was the Liberty men's team's highest finisher on Saturday, claiming second place in the 1,000 in 2:26.79.
Kyle Harkabus came back after his men's 3K victory on Friday to come in third in the invitational mile in 4:05.64. Brendan Pitcher won his heat and took 13th place overall in 4:09.08. His nearly three-second personal best ties him with Chris McGregor's effort from the 1998 IC4A Championship for 10th in program history.
Liberty finished fourth in both men's straightaway finals, thanks to Omari Lewis (6.76) in the 60 and Albrey Gossett (8.08) in the 60 hurdles.
Anthony Bryan pole vaulted a personal-best 15-9 to come in fifth in the event's Open A section. Meanwhile, Joshua Smith's season-best 48-0.5 triple jump was good for seventh place.
