Student-Athlete GPA Success Reaches All-Time Record High

While Liberty Athletics was making the next major step onto the national scene on the field of competition this fall, its student-athletes matched the effort in the classroom during the first half of the 2023-24 academic year.

Liberty's student-athletes finished the Fall 2023 semester with a cumulative 3.34 grade point average, the highest recorded end-of-the-semester GPA in athletics department history.

Following the conclusion of the Fall 2023 semester, Liberty Athletics continues to have 19 of its 20 NCAA Division I athletics programs maintain a 3.0 or higher team cumulative GPA.

Before this past semester, Liberty's highest end-of-the-semester GPA was a 3.29 GPA following the Fall 2022 semester.

Although NCAA student-athletes are often some of the most driven individuals on college campuses, success like Liberty's student-athletes continue to have does not happen without the efforts of Liberty's Academic Affairs for Athletics office.

Under the leadership of Kristie Beitz, Senior Associate AD for Academic Affairs, Liberty's Academic Affairs for Athletics team continues to walk alongside Liberty's student-athletes during their entire journey of becoming a Champion for Christ.

The Liberty Academic Affairs for Athletics team spends countless hours not only helping student-athletes achieve their goal of a college degree. This talented group of individuals puts student-athletes first to make sure they thrive in their pursuit of academic, athletic, social and spiritual development.
