Liberty’s Top Storylines
• Guard Darius McGhee has 2,365 career points and is nine points away from becoming the school's new all-time leading scorer. He is No. 2 in program history, behind only Karl Hess (2,373 points, 1977-80).
• Liberty is third in the country in total three-pointers (265) and fourth in three-pointers per game (11.0). The Flames are also No. 3 nationally in assist/turnover ratio (1.67), No. 4 in scoring margin (16.6), No. 4 in effective field goal percentage (57.5), No. 5 in scoring defense (58.4) and No. 9 in assists per game (17.6).
• This is the 14th all-time meeting between the two squads and second of the season. Liberty defeated Lipscomb 77-48 on Jan. 2 at Liberty Arena. The Flames have won four straight against the Bisons and hold an 8-5 edge in the all-time series.
• McGhee (20.9 ppg) ranks No. 2 in the nation in both three-point field goals per game (4.46) and total three-pointers made (107). McGhee has 473 career three-pointers, fourth most in NCAA DI history.

Liberty's last game on this date was a 57-54 triumph over the Radford Highlanders on Feb. 4, 2017 at the Vines Center. A.C. Reid hit a buzzer-beater off the glass to give the Flames the win. Georgie Pacheco-Ortiz paced Liberty with 15 points, and John Dawson added 12. Liberty moved to 10-2 in the Big South with the victory to remain in a tie for first place in the league.
