• Liberty (18-7, 12-2 ASUN) will tip off a three-game homestand with its second matchup against ASUN newcomer Queens (8-17, 3-11 ASUN) in three days, Saturday evening at Liberty Arena.
• The Lady Flames posted a 67-53 victory at Queens on Thursday in their first-ever meeting with the Royals. Liberty's 10th straight win gives the Lady Flames 17 winning streaks of 10+ contests in 24 seasons under Carey Green.
• Liberty will celebrate Senior Night prior to tipoff on Saturday, recognizing Mya Berkman, Dee Brown, Audrey Clark, Alise Markova, Kennedi Williams and manager Emma Farrar.
• Berkman leads the Lady Flames in scoring (14.6 ppg) and rebounding (8.0 rpg), while pacing the nation in field goal percentage (70.0). She was one of five Lady Flames who shared the team lead with nine points at Queens on Thursday, while also collecting a team-high seven rebounds.
• Point guard Williams ranks No. 4 nationally for assist-to-turnover ratio (2.86). She is averaging 9.1 ppg while posting 46 assists to eight turnovers during Liberty's current 10-game winning streak.
Notes and Anecdotes – Liberty vs. Queens
• Liberty is concluding a home-and-home series against ASUN newcomer Queens, which began with a 67-53 victory in Charlotte on Thursday in the first-ever meeting between the two programs.
• The Lady Flames are facing the same team in consecutive contests for the first time since March 5 & 6, 2021, when they wrapped up the regular season with back-to-back games at FGCU.
• Liberty has won six consecutive Senior Day contests since suffering a 57-49 Senior Day loss to Presbyterian on March 5, 2016 at the Vines Center.
• Liberty is 1-0 versus Jen Brown during her head coaching career. The Lady Flames went 1-6 versus Brown during her time as an assistant at James Madison (2010-11 through 2015-16) and Virginia Tech (2016-17 through 2019-20).
• With Thursday's victory, Liberty has now recorded 17 win streaks of 10+ games during Carey Green's 24 years as head coach. The Lady Flames have posted 19 total double-digit win streaks since their last 10-game losing streak (in 1987).
