Liberty Men’s Basketball Announces Addition of Decker Jr.

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Liberty Flames men's basketball team has announced the signing of Brett Decker Jr..
Decker Jr. is a 6-2 guard from Cecilia, Ky. who currently plays for Central Hardin High School.
"Brett Decker is a terrific fit for our program and our future," stated Liberty Men's Basketball Head Coach Ritchie McKay. "Not only is he a very talented basketball player, but his character and commitment is ahead of most at that age. I'm really excited about his decision to join our family."
Decker Jr. averaged 23.0 points per game as a junior at Central Hardin and was named 5th Region Player of the Yea as well as the News-Enterprise Area Player of the Year. The guard made 112 three-pointers during his junior season, connecting on 49.1 percent of his attempts.
Decker also added 3.6 rebounds per game and shot 83.6 percent from the free throw line as a junior. During his sophomore campaign, he averaged 22.3 ppg.
Decker is a three-star recruit, according to 247 Sports.
