
North Florida Downs No. 14 Liberty 5-2 in Game 1

The North Florida Ospreys broke a 2-2 with three runs in the sixth inning to defeat the No. 14 Liberty Flames 5-2 in game one of an ASUN doubleheader at Harmon Stadium, Saturday afternoon.
Designated hitter Trey Spratling-Williams gave the host Ospreys a 4-2 lead, hitting his first home run with a runner aboard with one out in the sixth. Later in the inning, Isaiah Byars hit his first home run of the season for a 5-2 lead.
Liberty third baseman Stephen Hill had three hits in the contest and gave the Flames a 2-0 lead in the first inning with his first home run of the year.
Liberty falls to 0-1 in the ASUN Conference and 12-4 on the year. North Florida moves to 1-0 in the ASUN and 7-11 overall.
