• The No. 14 Liberty Flames will complete a six-game homestand when they host the Campbell Fighting Camels, this weekend at Worthington Field at Liberty Baseball Stadium. Due to forecasted inclement weather, the two teams will play on Friday and Sunday.
• Liberty's ranking is its highest in a national poll in program history.
• The Flames have not lost since their season opener on Feb. 18, winning their last 11 games. Liberty enters the weekend with a 17-game home winning streak, the longest streak in the country dating back to last season.
• The all-time series between the two teams is tied at 28-28. Last season, the Camels took two out of three games to open up the season in Buies Creek, N.C. Friday's game is the first meeting between the two teams in Lynchburg since 2018.

Longest Home Winning Streak in Country
• The Flames enter the weekend with a 17-game winning streak at Worthington Field at Liberty Baseball, tying future 2022 opponent Wake Forest for the longest home winning streak the country, dating back to last season.
• Last season, Liberty won 13 consecutive contests. The streak was the fifth longest in the nation at the time.
• The Flames streak set a new Liberty NCAA DI mark for consecutive victories and is the second longest in program history behind the school's all-time record for consecutive win of 15 by the 1976 Flames.
• The previous NCAA DI program record was nine consecutive games, which the Flames reached seven times during their NCAA Division I era. The Flames won nine consecutive games in 1985, 1995, 2006, 2008, 2009 and 2011.
Highest Ranking
• Liberty is ranked No. 14 in the country by D1Baseball.com this week. The ranking is the highest for a Liberty team in program history.
• Liberty reached as high as No. 21 in the polls in 2014, as Baseball America had the Flames listed there in their May 12 poll.
Orndorff Named ASUN Player of Week
• Liberty outfielder Derek Orndorff has been selected the ASUN Baseball Player of the Week, this past Monday.
• Orndorff receives the first ASUN Player of the Week honor of his career, after hitting five home runs in four games during the week to take over the national lead in home runs with 10. The center fielder hit a home run in three of the four games and belted two in a game twice during the week.
• The outfielder hit .356 with 11 RBI and nine runs scored, as Liberty won all four of its contests during the week to extend its winning streak to 10 games. He also walked four times and was hit by a pitch three times to finish the week with a .600 on base percentage.
• The Mills Run, Pa., native started the week with two home runs, a solo home run in the first inning and a three-run home run in the seventh inning, in the Flames’ 11-3 win at Radford on Tuesday.
• Orndorff had quite a weekend, hitting three home runs, driving in seven and scoring seven runs in Liberty’s three-game sweep of Canisius.

- C Gray Betts had three hits, all extra bases, and hit his first home run of the season in Liberty's 11-3 win over Radford on March 1. In addition, the junior had three RBI and three runs scored in the contest. The catcher has reached base in 11 of Liberty's 12 games.
- 1B Currently, Logan Mathieu is tied for eighth on the program's career home run list with 26. Brady Gulakowski has also started at first base three times, this season.
- 2B Cameron Foster reached base three times, walking twice and being hit by a pitch, and scored two runs in Liberty's win over Canisius, this past Sunday.
- SS Jake Lazzaro has returned to shortstop after an injury. The transfer has started the last four games.
- 3B Stephen Hill has hit .333 with 11 RBI and 13 runs scored over the last 10 games. Over the span, he has walked eight times and posted a .449 on base percentage.
- LF Three Hillier received his first start in left field in Liberty's 1-0 win over North Carolina, Tuesday. Hillier has also started at catcher and as the designated hitter in his four starts.
- CF Derek Orndorff enters the week the nation's home run leader with 10 home runs. The transfer has hit two home runs in three different games in 2022 and sports a team-leading .432 batting average.
- RF Aaron Anderson has had two or more hits in six of the last eight games. He enters the weekend with a team-leading seven multi-hit games.
- DH Brady Gulakowski is second on the Flames with 15 runs batted in.
- SP Joe Adametz III has allowed one unearned run over six innings in each of his last two starts. The left-hander leads the ASUN with a 0.56 ERA over 16 innings in three starts.
- RP Cade Hungate leads the Flames and is second in the ASUN Conference with four saves. The right-hander recorded his fourth save with a scoreless inning to finish off Liberty's 1-0 victory over North Carolina on Tuesday.
- RP Right-hander Trey Carter has yet to allow a run in five appearances this season. Carter has pitched six scoreless innings during his relief appearances.
