• Liberty took two games of the three games of its non-conference series with Coastal Carolina, this past weekend at Worthington Field at Liberty Baseball Stadium. The Flames are now 16-2 at home in 2021.

The catcher is second in the ASUN Conference with 40 runs scored and on base percentage with a .471 on base percentage. He has walked 27 times to lead the conference. During the month of April, Betts has a .500 on base percentage.
- ?1B Garrett Wilkinson received his first start at first base and had an RBI double in the first inning in Sunday's win over Coastal Carolina. Wilkinson, who has served as the Flames designated hitter, has reached base in each of his last seven starts.
- 2B Will Wagner is second in the ASUN and leads the Flames with 37 RBI.
- SS Cam Locklear moved into fourth place on Liberty's career games played list, playing in his 224th contest on Sunday. The senior has hit .340 during the month of April.
- 3B Trey McDyre has hit .405 and scored 12 runs over the last 10 games.
- LF Aaron Anderson enters the week, fourth in the ASUN with a .351 batting average, sixth with 32 RBI and first in doubles with 15. He leads the Flames with 16 multi-hit games, including six contests with three hits or more.

- RP Landon Riley pitched a scoreless ninth to earn his fifth save of the season, Sunday. The right-hander not allowed an earned run in 15 innings during 14 relief appearances.
