Liberty maintained its position atop the ASUN Conference North Division with a 6-1 road triumph at Bellarmine, Sunday at the Eddie Weber Tennis Complex.
Liberty (13-4) improves to 3-0 in the ASUN. Bellarmine (0-13) is 0-3 in conference following today's loss.

How It Happened
• Liberty captured the doubles point and earned singles victories on courts one, two and three.
• The Lady Flames won the No. 3 doubles match by default and the No. 5 and No. 6 singles matches by default.
• Liberty's No. 1 doubles unit, Alexandra Almborg and Eloise Saraty, topped Aubrey Smith and Madison Devillez 6-1. The Lady Flames No. 2 pairing, Tiffany Nguyen and Micaela Ode Mitre, knocked off Ava Ratcliff and Channing Varnum 6-2.
• Both Lady Flames doubles units earned their 11th wins of the spring. Almborg and Saraty are 11-6, while Nguyen and Ode Mitre are 11-3.
• After the Lady Flames won the doubles session, they led the match 3-0 heading into singles with Bellarmine defaulting the No. 5 and No. 6 singles matches.
• Liberty's Saraty (No. 3 singles) made it 4-0 and clinched the victory with a two-set win versus Maja Kozerski, 6-0, 6-1.
• Lovato, the No. 123-ranked player in the nation, improved to 16-0 on the season with her 6-2, 6-0 decision versus Smith.
• The Lady Flames' Ode Mitre stretched the visitors' lead to six (6-0) when she topped the Knights' Devillez 6-1, 6-4 on court two.
• Bellarmine's lone point came from Varnum on court four, a two-set winner against Liberty's Kelly Lewis (7-5, 6-2).
• Sunday's match was the first meeting between Liberty and Bellarmine.
Next Up
• Liberty will be back in action at home for the first time since March 6 when it hosts Lipscomb (6-7, 1-1 ASUN), Thursday at the Liberty Tennis Complex. First serve between the Lady Flames and Bisons is scheduled for 11 a.m.
• Liberty defeated Lipscomb 4-3, last Sunday at the Huston-Marsh-Griffith Tennis Center in Nashville, Tenn. The Lady Flames are 3-0 all-time versus the Bisons.
