The Lady Flames tennis team picked up its 10th win of the season with a 4-2 road victory at College of Charleston on Saturday at the College of Charleston Tennis Center at Patriots Point.
Liberty's winning streak has reached four matches following the win. The Lady Flames are 10-2 on the season and 4-2 on the road. This marked the second 4-2 victory in as many days for Liberty, after the Lady Flames also defeated Charleston Southern by the same score on Friday.
College of Charleston falls to 4-7 this season, including a 1-5 mark at home.
Thoughts From Head Coach Jeff Maren
"Our three pillars for the team are Faith, Focus and Effort. Today, we exhibited all of these characteristics on every court. Charleston is a very skilled team with great fighters, so we needed to step up in all those areas and we did! I'm proud of Micaela for rebounding with a solid win today and for Esther for clinching the match with a long two-set battle."
