Liberty Head Football Coach Hugh Freeze held his weekly press conference, Monday morning, from the Media Room of the Liberty Football Center.
During the 15-plus minute press event, Freeze reflected on the Flames 6-0 start after a home victory over Southern Miss, entering a Top 25 poll for the first time in program history, plus previewed Liberty's upcoming match-up at Virginia Tech.
Liberty will attempt to start a season 7-0 for the first time in program history. The Flames have won eight straight games overall, dating back to 2019. That ranks as the nation's second-longest active winning streak (Notre Dame - 12).
The Flames are 0-1 versus the Hokies and 1-8 all-time against ACC opponents. However, that lone victory came at Syracuse (38-21) on Oct. 17.
