Football Game Notes vs. ULM

Press Conference: Coach Symons

Liberty Head Football Coach Hugh Freeze held his weekly press conference, Monday morning, from the Media Room of the Liberty Football Center.

During the 15-plus minute press event, Freeze reflected on the Flames 3-0 start after a home victory over North Alabama, plus previewed Liberty's upcoming match-up against ULM.

Liberty has won seven straight home games and five consecutive contests overall, dating back to last season. If the Flames are victorious on Saturday, they will post their first six-game winning streak as an FBS squad and become one of the nation's first FBS teams to reach 4-0 in 2020.

Liberty and ULM are meeting on the gridiron for the first time. The Flames are 4-1 all-time versus Sun Belt opponents, with their most recent matchup being a 23-16 victory over Georgia Southern in the 2019 FBC Mortgage Cure Bowl.
