• For the 15th consecutive season, Liberty has won 30 or more games. The Flames reached the 30-win mark with a 4-1, 11 inning victory over Jacksonville, last Friday. With a 30-11 record, it is the fastest that the Flames have reached the milestone since 2014, when they posted a 30-9 mark.
• Liberty and Kennesaw State will meet for the first time since 2015, this weekend. The three-game series will be the first time the two have met as conference opponents.
• The Flames enter their weekend series with Kennesaw State with an 8-10 road record. Liberty fell 11-5 at No. 11 North Carolina on Tuesday. It is the first time in 2019 that the Flames have lost three games in a row.
• In their first season as members of the ASUN Conference, the Flames are second place in the conference standings with a 10-5 record. Last weekend, Liberty dropped their first ASUN series of the year at Jacksonville, losing two of the three contests.
• Liberty is in the midst of a nine-game road trip, their longest of the season. The Flames do not return home until May 10th when they host ASUN opponent Lipscomb. After dropping their contest at North Carolina, Liberty has started the trip with a 1-4 mark.
Cam is Locked In
Flames shortstop Cam Locklear was one of the Flames hottest hitter during the month of April. Entering the month with a .215 batting average, the junior hit .373, raising his overall batting average 73 points to .282.
Locklear had two or more hits in nine April contests, including a three-hit game in a victory over Stetson on April 13 and a career-high four hits in a win a North Alabama on April 7. Two of his four hits at North Alabama were home runs, as he also recorded a career-high with four RBI.

- Jonathan Embry had his reached base safely streak end at 18 straight games on Tuesday at North Carolina, his longest of the year. The Liberty leadoff hitter currently leads the ASUN Conference with 43 runs scored.
- Will Wagner leads the Flames with a .323 batting average. The sophomore's reached base safely streak came to an end at 21 games, last Saturday at Jacksonville. It is the longest by a Flame this season. Wagner batted .328 with 17 RBI during the month of April.
- Tyler Galazin has had at least one hit in five out of his last six games and posted multi-hit games on this past Friday and Saturday at Jacksonville.
- Gray Betts enters the week second in the ASUN Conference with a .460 on base percentage. Betts batted .385 with an on base percentage of .522 during the month of April. The freshman has had at least one hit in14 of the 17 games.
- Brandon Rohrer has hit .373 with nine RBI and 15 runs scored in Liberty's 15 ASUN Conference games.
- Ben Highfill has driven in at least one run in four of the last five games. He hit his first home run of the season at Virginia on April 23 .
- Right-hander Andrew McInvale pitched five scoreless innings in his last outing at Jacksonville, this past Friday.
- Evan Brabrand enters the week as the ASUN leader in saves with nine. He ran his record to 3-1 on the year with 4 1/3 innings of relief in Liberty's 4-1 win at Jacksonville, this past Friday.
