The Lady Flames tennis team will play ASUN matches on back-to-back days, Saturday and Sunday.
Liberty will first take on the Kennesaw State Owls, Saturday at 1 p.m. Eastern at the Betty Siegel Tennis Courts in Kennesaw, Ga. The Lady Flames will then compete against the North Alabama Lions on Sunday at 11 a.m. Eastern at the UNA Varsity Courts. The Liberty-UNA match was originally pegged for Monday morning but was moved up a day due to impending inclement weather in Florence, Ala.
The Lady Flames currently hold a 7-6 overall record and 0-1 mark in the ASUN. Liberty went 2-1 in three matches last week, defeating Florida Atlantic and Chattanooga before falling to Florida Gulf Coast in its ASUN opener, last Sunday.
Kennesaw State is 1-11 on the season and will be playing its first ASUN match of the year, Saturday. The Owls will be looking to snap a three-match losing streak.
North Alabama is 5-8 overall and will take on Lipscomb on Saturday to open its ASUN slate prior to facing Liberty on Sunday morning. The Lions have won two of their last three contests but lost their most recent one against Austin Peay, Wednesday.
Both Kennesaw State and North Alabama are first-time opponents for the Lady Flames.
