Football Game Notes vs. New Mexico State
Following a weekly press conference with Flames Head Coach Hugh Freeze on Monday, select members of Liberty's roster met with the media on the Club Pavilion of the Carter Tower at Williams Stadium.
During the media session, several of the Flames' players reflected on Liberty's third win in a row and looked ahead to the Flames' second road trip of the season.
The player list included: Stephen Calvert (QB), Jimmy Faulks (CB), Noah Frith (WR), Antonio Gandy-Golden (WR), Jessie Lemonier (DL), Ralfs Rusins (DL) and Javon Scruggs (CB). To view all the video interviews, check out the Liberty Flames Athletics YouTube page.
Liberty and New Mexico State also matched up twice in 2018 with the home team winning both contests. Last year's contest in Las Cruces (Oct. 6, 2018) turned into a shootout, with the two teams combining for 1,085 yards in a 49-41 Aggies triumph.
