Summer Update with AD Ian McCaw

In between Big South Football Media Day and the opening of football practice next week, LFSN reporter Alan York recently had a chance to talk with Director of Athletics Ian McCaw.
During the interview, McCaw provided a recap of his experiences from Big South Football Media Day in Charlotte, N.C., including the questioned he faced from the media during the event.
McCaw also provided an update on the upcoming football season, including a look at how ticket sales are progressing as Liberty heads into the 2017 season. Entering the final week of the month of July, football season ticket sales are up nearly 25 percent over last year, while membership in the Flames Club is up 10 percent over this time last year.
Finally, York and McCaw discuss Liberty's Summer Bridge program and how the Athletics Department is preparing for the upcoming 2017-18 academic year.
