
GAME ON Feature: Ian Parmley

Recently, former Liberty baseball player Ian Parmley was featured on LFSN's GameON.
Parmley patrolled centerfield for the Flames for two seasons (2011-12), before being selected in the seventh round by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 2013 Major League Draft.
After participating in the Blue Jays' spring training camp, the former Liberty outfielder is currently at Triple A Buffalo. Parmley has hit .288 in 43 games.
Parmley earned first team Big South All-Conference, ECAC All-Star and VaSID All-State honors in 2012 as a senior. The Maltby, Wash., native hit .313, scoring 114 runs and driving in 45 runs in 115 games during his Flames' career. He also stole 57 bases, which rank seventh on Liberty's all-time list.
