We're Going to be Here Awhile
Tuesday's contest with Duke will be the fourth game of a 12-game homestand for the Flames. The homestand will be the second longest in program history and the longest since the Flames began play in Liberty Baseball Stadium in 2013.
Liberty opened the stretch by winning the first two games of a three-game set over Bryant, this past weekend. With the victories, the Flames are 3-1 at Liberty Baseball Stadium, this season.
The longest homestand in school history consisted of 14 games in 1980, during which Head Coach Al Worthington's squad posted a 12-2 record. Liberty's current 12-game homestand will be the team's sixth of 10 or more games in its history. The last time the Flames had a homestand of 10 or more games was in 2005 (10 games.)
Baseball Parking
Fans coming to the Liberty Baseball Stadium are encouraged to park in either the Speakman (in front of the bookstore), the Parking Garage (by the softball stadium), or the Baseball Outfield parking lots on Tuesday.
