Flames Club Experiences Record-Breaking Year in 2016

Much like Liberty Athletics' success on the field of competition, the Flames Club finished the 2016 calendar year in record territory.
The Flames Club, the booster club for Liberty Athletics, finished 2016 with a record 1,030 members and received total contributions of $1.29 million. The calendar year's contributions marked the seventh-consecutive year the Flames Club collections exceeded $1 million.
The Flames Club's annual fund total includes membership contributions, legacy gifts and luxury suite contributions.
In 2016, the Flames Club experienced its 12th-consecutive season of growth, exceeding 1,000 members for the second year in a row. Last year, 1,030 members contributed a record $833,000 to the organization's annual fund.
Flames Club membership begins at just $60, with eight ascending levels culminating with the $12,000 Scholarship Level.
Outside of its annual membership drive, the Flames Club manages Liberty's luxury suites at Williams Stadium and the Liberty Baseball Stadium. Luxury suite fees for Williams Stadium's 18 suites cost $25,000 per year, while Liberty Baseball Stadium's four suites cost $10,000 per season.
Since the renovation to Williams Stadium in 2010 and the opening of the Liberty Baseball Stadium in 2013, the Flames Club has experienced a 98% occupancy rate for its luxury suites.
The mission of the Flames Club is to raise financial support for Liberty Athletics and to ensure that its coaches and student-athletes have everything they need to compete for championships.
Flames Club members can also be rewarded with preferred parking, seating and hospitality privileges for football, basketball and baseball, based upon membership level.
A Flames Club members' contribution supports Liberty Athletics mission to train Champions for Christ, provide a world class student-athlete experience and achieve victory with integrity.
