Preseason XC Update with Brant Tolsma

The Liberty men's and women's cross country teams officially started practice for the 2016 season on Friday. Alan York of the Liberty Flames Sports Network recently caught up with head coach Brant Tolsma to discuss the upcoming year.
Expectations are high for both of Liberty's squads this coming season, as the Lady Flames were named the Big South Conference preseason favorite and the Flames were picked to finish second.
Liberty will open the season on Sept. 1, traveling to the UVa Duals at Panorama Farms in Earlysville, Va. The Flames and Lady Flames will compete against host Virginia, James Madison and Norfolk State, beginning at 6 p.m.
