Introducing Zach Farquhar

Recently, LFSN's Alan York sat down with each of the Liberty men's basketball team's incoming players. In the third installment of the series, York chats with redshirt sophomore guard Zach Farquhar.
During the interview, Farquhar discussed a variety of topics, including being a second generation player for the Flames. Farquhar's father, Steve, was a four-year letter winner with the Flames (1986-90), which includes Liberty's first season as a Division I program.
A multi-year letterwinner at Sycamore High School, Farquhar closed out his tenure as the school's all-time leader in three-point field goals, varsity games played (61) and free throw percentage (85 percent). During his junior season, Farquhar helped his team capture the Greater Miami Conference championship in 2013. Prior to coming to Liberty, Farquhar also attended Wright State and Miami (Ohio).
