Following the conclusion of the Flames' fall workout session, LFSN reporter Nick Pierce had a chance to visit with first-year Liberty Baseball Head Coach Scott Jackson.
Jackson was named Liberty's seventh head baseball coach on July 17, returning to Liberty after spending eight seasons on staff at North Carolina. Jackson served as Liberty's pitching coach during the 2008 season.
Jackson and his squad spent the fall season working out and preparing for Liberty's 2017 schedule, which features eleven games against 2016 NCAA Regional participants, including 2016 Super Regional qualifier East Carolina.
The Flames' schedule features 27 home games at Liberty Baseball Stadium. Liberty will open its 2017 home schedule against Kentucky on Feb. 22 at 3 p.m. For more information about purchasing season tickets for the upcoming season, click here.
