Last week, Liberty's Josh Woodrum was one of two featured Liberty players during the 2015 Big South Football Media Day events held in Atlanta, Ga.
The Liberty Flames Sports Network was on site following Woodrum as the Flames' four-year starting quarterback went through his third career Big South Media Day event. Today's video is the first in a two-part, behind-the-scene video series with Liberty's senior quarterback.
The two-day event began with a tour of the College Football Hall of Fame and the annual Big South Kickoff Banquet on Wednesday. During the following day, Woodrum took part in a series of media interviews with national, regional and local media.
Woodrum was an All-Big South second-team selection for the second year in a row in 2014, after accounting for 52.8 percent of Liberty's total offensive touchdowns (19 passing touchdowns and nine rushing touchdowns).
Woodrum racked up four 300-yard passing games and ranked second in the Big South in total offense (266.8 yards per game). He led the conference in passing efficiency (147.57) and is on pace to finish in the top five in the school's career passing efficiency list.
Woodrum is poised to make a run at Liberty's career passing records during his senior season. He enters the year ranked second in program history with 7,494 career passing yards and tied for third with 49 career passing touchdowns. Liberty Athletics Hall of Famer Robby Justino is the program's career record holder in both categories (9,548 career passing yards and 64 career passing touchdowns).
